Aftercare
Make your set last
A few small habits keep your nails glossy for weeks.
- Cuticle oil every night. It keeps the gel flexible and stops the edges lifting.
- Wear gloves for cleaning. Cleaning products and hot water dull the shine.
- Nails aren't tools. Don't use them to open cans or peel stickers.
- Never pick them off. Picking takes layers of your own nail with it. Book a removal instead (gel £5, Gel-X £15).
- Rebook every 3 to 4 weeks. That keeps your nails healthy and your set looking fresh.
Questions
How long will my nails last?
Gel polish lasts 2 to 3 weeks, and Gel-X 3 to 4 weeks.
Will it damage my nails?
Not when it's applied and removed properly. Damage usually comes from picking or peeling.
Can I have short nails?
Of course. Short sets look lovely with French tips, dots and little charms.
